We’re looking for a popcorn machine for a new Senior Center. I diligently sought out an American made machine. Found Paragon Consessions, company from Iowa. Machines are made in the USA. The company representative worked with me to size the machine we would need and machine was ordered and shipped. The first Machine made it all the way from Iowa to Illinois, and the shipper returned it because of damage. The second Machine made it all the way to our door only to find Glass fragments coming from the package. Upon opening the package finding the machine was poorly packed as it would not withstand the handling during shipment. Customer service and I agreed that if they shipped just the back panel of glass, I would install it. I did this with great pains to ensure I got all the fragments of glass from the machine. I might add this was done at no expense to Paragon. Our new building was not open for a year after we bought the machine we use the machine for less than a year. The doors cracked the holes for hinges and the handle. Call customer service they said it was either because people were pulling on the doors or that the machine was left on too long and the heat. from the Machine cracks the plexiglass. They also stated that they knew of this problem with the heat BUT would sell us new doors. In my opinion, NOT ACCEPTABLE! We had the doors replaced by a glass company that stated the material that came from the machine was the wrong type. We have since stopped ordering our popcorn from Paragon Concessions, company. May I ask you a question? Would you do business with this company?
